Hysterical Moment Gordon Ramsay's Cooking Is Savaged By Thai Chef
We've all been asked a version of the hypothetical question, "If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?" Needless to say, our answers vary tremendously and say a lot about us as people and what it is that we value.
Many of us would go for a high-profile figure from the past - a beautiful actress from the Golden Age of Hollywood, or perhaps a beloved musical legend, or a legendary world leader - the list goes on. Others will choose a modern contemporary icon - I mean, just imagine how psyched you would be to sit at the same table as Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, or Kylie Jenner.
But what if we phrased the question slightly differently and instead asked something along the lines of "Who would you, under no circumstances, invite to your dinner party?" Imagine the dinner party in question was one that you were hosting entirely on your own - you were responsible for making the food, providing the entertainment, and ensuring your guests felt they had received the warmest of welcomes.
Because I'll tell you one thing: after watching a few too many episodes of Hell's Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay is definitely the last person I'd want to attend my hypothetical dinner party.
If you're vaguely aware of the man and his rather dictatorial approach to cooking and more specifically the way in which he judges other people's cooking, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.
However, how about when the shoe is on the other foot?
Remember when Ramsay got ripped apart by a Thai chef?
In the clip above, a renowned Thai chef tells Ramsay exactly what he thinks of his take on a national dish, pad thai. It ain't pretty and just like Ramsay, Chef Gang doesn't pull any punches. The clip might be nearly a decade old, having been filmed back in 2009, but I bet Ramsay's still mortified about the incident.
You see, if Ramsay was a guest at your house, you just know he'd spend the entire time criticizing how crispy your roast potatoes are or telling you that the whole meal is undercooked. Ramsay clearly knows he is a genius when it comes to cooking, which is why the clip above will make you laugh your ass off at the culinary snob.
It was filmed during an episode of The F-Word, during which he made a seemingly inauthentic pad thai for Chef Gang the executive chef of a Thai restaurant called The Blue Elephant.
I have no idea why no one ever uses it against him when he's ranting and raving about their supposedly terrible cooking...
